Polemics between evolutionists and anti-evolutionists at the National Research Council of Italy

With regards to the polemics in the italian scientific community about the publication of the book titled “Evolutionism: the dawn of a hypothesis” edited by prof. de Mattei, vice-president of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR), the CNR President prof. Maiani has recently released a press note providing some clarifications.

The issue provoked some contrasts between evolutionists and anti-evolutionists creating also some doubts about the opportunity for the CNR vice president, the biggest public research institution in Italy, to express such anti-Darwin positions.
