The National Research Council of Italy (CNR) has realized an interesting multimedia initiative directed to the reconstruction of the National Museum of Iraq in a virtual perspective thus completely available in Internet
The website has been developed in Italian, Arabic and English in the CNR's laboratories thanks to the cooperation among scientists of ancient history and IT experts.
I think that this is a very fascinating initiative for a wide audience (in particular young people and kids): I think also that this is an useful contribution to finally talk about Iraq in cultural rather than only military terms.
