Best wishes, Mr President!

Barack Obama has been confirmed as President of USA.  I hope that in the next 4 years he can meet those expectations he failed to satify in the past 4 years.

In the meantime, while watching the US presidential elections, I have reflected about the distance separating Italy from America. Our politicians are likely to be so hick and low profile: we have no capable leaders with the skills to deal with the current social, economic and environmental situation. We have no ideals, no pushes to motivate men and women towards an idea of future: here "nothing" rules...

As Mr Romney sai, we, with the politicians we currently have, will end up like Italy: But... THIS IS ITALY!!! AND THIS IS THE END WE ACTUALLY DESERVE!!!!

In bocca al lupo Presidente!

Barack Obama è confermato Presidente degli USA. Speriamo che nei prossimi quattro anni possa essere all'altezza delle aspettative dato che nei quattro anni precedenti in più di un'occasione ha deluso tali aspettative. 

Nel frattempo, pensando al Presidente Obama, mi viene da pensare a quanto distante sia l'Italia dall'America soprattutto sotto il profilo politico. Quanto appare mediocre, provinciale e di basso livello la nostra classe politica... Non abbiamo leader all'altezza della situazione, non abbiamo ideali, spinte propulsive capaci di mobilitare uomini e donne intorno ad un'idea di futuro: qui regna il nulla più assoluto.

E, come ha detto il Sig. Ronmey, noialtri con i politici che ci ritroviamo faremmo la fine dell'Italia. E infatti siamo l'Italia e guarda che fine abbiamo fatto!
