The association ARCI-BLERA is organizing the 3rd edition of the Multicultural Event “BLERAPERTA”. The initiative will be held in Blera (province of Viterbo 50 km north of Rome) on July 26th and 27th 2008. On Saturday games and parties are organized for kids and in the evening it will be held a concert of S.A.M. with music inspired to Balkan and southern Italy tradition. On Sunday will be held a marionette show of the Polish group Pò Puszki and in the evening a concert of Olga Balan and the Rom group Draculas. It will be possible to taste traditional food from Sri Lanka, Kosovo, Romania, Belarus, Germany, etc. and local traditional food. The event will be completed by an art exhibition “Chromatic Mixing: a multiethnic travel between colours and shapes” and a small fairy of world traditional handcrafted and food products.
This event is thus another good example of promotion of "local" through a meeting of different local cultures and traditions. Well Done!
