Là fuori...

 Di tutto quello che mi accade intorno, in questo scenario triste da operetta scadente con i suoi attorucoli che vi si agitano dentro e che sgomitano in tutti i modi per farsi notare, per la maggior parte non ci capisco più molto: di quello che rimane mi importa ben poco.

Esiste però una piccola frazione di mondo, con la sua incredibile umanità, che ancora mi sorprende per la sua poetica autenticità e la sua trasognante (talvolta inconsapevole) visione delle cose: questa, da sola, dà un senso a tutto. 

Sole

Maestro se mi addormento all'ombra e dopo poco mi risveglio in pieno sole cosa vuoi dire?

 Vuol dire che il tuo ombrellone è volato via... 

Canto d'estate

Le cicale esistono per farci impazzire. Se ci si concentra sul loro canto facilmente si può uscire di testa... Forse Omero intendeva qualcosa del genere quando narrava del canto delle Sirene... 

Banalità patologica

 L'ignoranza e l'apatia come fenomeni patologici e diffusi e status sociali da sbandierare senza vergogna hanno creato delle situazioni decisamente particolari, tali da connotare in modo sensibile questi anni così umanamente scadenti. L'incapacità diffusa di saper riconoscere le qualità intrinseche di qualsiasi cosa, con la conseguente capacità di soffermarsi solo sugli aspetti più superficiali, ha fatto sì che le persone, soprattutto sul versante culturale ma non solo, mediamente non siano più in grado di comprendere e valutare i contentuti ma solo le modalità di presentazione di qualsiasi tipo di contenuto.

Questo comporta una banalizzazione del bisogno ad esempio di conoscenza, di crescita personale, fino alla banalizzazione dell'idea stessa di equilibrio personale e di "felicità" personale tale da trasformare tutto questo in un puro e semplice bisogno di divertimento. 

A questo punto, visto che si cerca di soddisfare solo il bisogno di divertimento, non interessa più il "cosa" ma il "come" attravero un processo che sia il meno possibile impegnativo da un punto di visto cognitivo perchè altrimenti si potrebbe comporomettere il divertimento. Per questo dilaga musica scadente di musicisti scadenti, libri scadenti di scrittori scadenti, film scadenti di attori e registi scadenti. 

Tutto viene banalizzato, semplificato fino alla stupidità, e più l'offerta è banale, banalizzata e banalizzante più viene apprezzata a scapito di un'offerta qualitativamente migliore ma ritenuta troppo impegnativa e quindi noiosa e poco o per nulla divertente.

C'è da chiedersi fin dove arriverà un processo come questo? 

La "gente"

 La cosiddetta gente comune non la capisco... Diciamo che ho smesso di capirla e per questo motivo non la sopporto. Spesso sono collettori di pregiudizi, alcuni anche pericolosi, e luoghi comuni. La gente comune è piena di convinzioni e non ha il minimo dubbio su nulla. Credo che la gente comune sia il risultato di una forma di ignoranza di massa ormai di dimensioni considerevoli. E francamente comincio anche a credere che non ci sia rimedio a questa situazione. In effetti credevo, forse anche ingenuamente, che le incredibili vicissitudini attraverso le quali siamo passati in tempi più o meno recenti avrebbero potuto produrre un cambiamento strutturale profondo nelle coscienze. E invece nulla. Questa ignoranza è talmente profonda che ha reso la gente comune impermeabile a qualsiasi sollecitazione. Anche il rischio di una catastrofe nucleare o ambientale di proporzioni apocalittiche sembra incapace di smuovere questa massa informe e gelatinosa che continuiamo a chiamare gente comune ....

Conversazioni

 La conversazione è un lusso che ci si può permettere con un numero estremamente limitato di persone. Con queste infatti il dialogo è arricchimento anche e soprattutto quando le opinioni possono divergere. Nel resto dei casi, ovvero nella maggior parte delle circostanze, ci si può limitare ad annuire, a dare ragione a tutti perché il livello di ottusità, di superficialità e di ignoranza dell'individuo medio in cui ci si può imbattere è tale da rendere stancante qualsiasi tentativo di ragionamento. Ormai mi limito a lasciare perdere, a lasciare che il fiume di assurdità che fuoriesce da queste faringi si perda nell'aria. Tanto è tutto inutile e non ci sono rimedi contro questa forma di inquinamento.

Deserti

 La combinazione perversa fra personalità modeste, un pubblico ignorante e spazi sempre più limitati e limitanti di espressione, ha creato dei pesanti schemi che oggi vengono imposti agli artisti. Questi schemi legano in modo drammatico ed irreparabile i creativi di qualsiasi disciplina artistica e culturale e stanno progressivamente spegnendo la fiamma della sperimentazione. 

Questa umanità dalle doti intellettive decisamente modeste sta creando un deserto.

Quello che domina è la paura del nuovo: tutto deve ricalcare le orme di qualcuno venuto prima. Si determina una passione malata per la "minestra riscaldata".

Questo avviene ad esempio nella musica con l'esplosione patologica delle tribute e cover band che non rappresentano altro che mediocri esercizi di tecnica. Questa gente scambia la replicazione per fantasia realizzando opere vuote come se il contenuto possa scaturire da questo loro vuoto creativo giusto per magica alchimia. 

E questo avviene in tutte le arti, non solo nella musica. La gente batte le mani ma io francamente non ci riesco.

Per questo quando vedo certi repertori o provo a leggere i libri di alcuni individui che il mercato etichetta come scrittori ho come la sensazione di trovarmi di fronte ad un fiume in secca...
 

Se mancano questi spazi bisogna che ce li costruiamo da soli...

Riflessioni personali

Le persone che mi spaventano e che temo maggiormente sono quelle prive di immaginazione... e sono di più di quanto si possa pensare.

 Ho deciso dopo un bel po' di tempo di rimettere mano a questo blog. La pandemia è finita e abbiamo ricominciato come prima come se niente fosse... Quindi... ricominciamo va...

Today 2 persons died for corona virus in the village where we live. 650 in Italy today: about 4100 from the beginning of the crisis. A lot of people is dying at home.

It is not possible to go out our homes: only for extraordinary reasons....

Diary bullet n. 6

According to the latest news in Italy the total number of deceased people for coronavirus has reached today the number of 3405.
The situation is still difficult and a lot of people, expecially in the big cities in the south of Italy, have not understand the critical situation in which we are falling yet. The only way we presently have to control the contagion is to stay at home: on the contrary to many people are still going around for a walk or sport outdoor. For this reason there is the possibility that the government will decide to involve soldiers, together with the police, in order to force people to respect the these norms.

We continue to stay at home. Our contacts are maintaned by phone, computer, skype, whatsapp and so on. We have been told to go out only in case of extreme need and when buying food becomes extremely necessary. Food delivery at home is still working however.

At the moment it is not possible to foresee any kind of end of this tunnel 

Diary bullettin n. 5

After 13 days, we keep on staying at home. Probably this measure, according to the last news, will continue till april 3 or maybe longer.

Today 2978 persons died. 475 only today.

The problem is that at the moment there's no solution to this problem, no vaccine. How and when will we see the end of all this?

Diary bullettin n. 4

Yesterday I have decided not to use the computer. I have many works to do outdoor in the country. This is the reason why I have not written anything here.

The situation is not changed. I have seen on TV that almost 7000 persons in Italy have been charged because going around without any reasonable reasons. We have been told that the only way we have to limit the contagion is to stay at home as long as possible. We stay at home...

We are lucky enough to live in the country. So we spend a lot of time outdoor both working via computer and doing farm works. But I can understand that people in large cities live these moments with more difficulties than people in the countryside or  in rural areas.

News are rather depressing. The number of people involved in the coronavisus contagion is very high (20603): 1809 persons died from the begininng of the emergency.

 We are in good health and fortunately we don't need any help. At the moment. We have food, fresh water, wood and gas for the healing, hot water and for cooking: the food shop near here is working regularly. Other shops have been closed in particular bars, restaurants, pubs.

I spend my free time playing guitar: blues music is a good medicine in situations like these

The weather is particularly fine. It seems that spring is about to arrive: this helps us to better deal with this surreal period of our lives.

Diary bullettin n. 3

I have to remind that we, like many other italians, started our quarantine period  last friday: march 6th. The government has announced that this period will last till the beginning of april. We will respect these indications even if not very used to stay blocked at home in this way.
At the moment we have no particular needs or problems. Everything seems to be ok. Fortunately we are in good health because medical care is provided only in case of urgent need.

Long queues outside the shops only to maintain health precautions. For safety reasons it takes long time to buy even few things. Nonetheless shelves are full. No shortages at all.

We spend our time working via web, reading a lot of books, doing farm works and in the garden, watching movies through netflix only in the evening... in the night...ok....

As I have already written, I actually prefer not to be overloaded by information and silly posts in facebook. There's a lot of rubbish in many tv shows and in facebook. We do not need further troubles. Just official news in the evening: that's all.

I have to admit that the situation is rather depressive: but we are doing our job and duty. Everything will turn ok.

The only really strange thing for me is watching commercials on TV. They are likely to belong to a very distant past, a different age, a different world. TV advs seem rather ridiculous...     

Diary bulletin n. 2

No relevant changes today. We are still working at home. We have meet nobody today. Contacts only through skype, whatsapp, messanger. 

Nodody in the sourroundings. I have decided not to follow too much blabla on social networks. News on tv only in the evening for the daily report of the italian civil protection. TV is totally fool...

Diary-bulletin n. 1

I have left this blog rather not used for a long time. Now I have decided to use it to tell and share what is going on here in Italy.

Yesterday night, the Prime Minister Mr Giuseppe Conte announced severe and strict measures for the italian people in order to limit the possibilities to spread the the coronavirus contagion between and among individuals.

All the commercial activities has been closed except for the necessary ones: food, important industries, technical assistance, healt services, etc...
Many shops and mall have been closed.

We have been highly recommended not to leave our homes: only in case of extremely important work needs, food shopping, health needs. In other cases, we must stay at home. If necessary to get out, we have to fill and sign a document in which one declare the reasons of his/her journey. Police can verify if the declaration is true or not. Otherwise one can be arrested for having committed a crime.

Me, my wife and my son live in a small farm house in a village near Viterbo, about 100 km north of Rome. Me and my wife work in Rome as technologists: at present we are doing our work via smart working at home. My son is completing his university degree in Rome: yet all universities in Italy (as well as all kind of schools) have been closed. Many university lesson are carried out via skype.
We are in good health and we do not require any support.

Hospitals are in a severe crisis. A greater part of health assistance is devoted to people affected with coronavirus. It's extremely difficult to have health support: only for critical needs. For this reason it is important not only to avoid the coronavirus contagion but also to any kind of other health trouble. Assitance is however granted for all and for free. All the medical staff in Italy is doing a great job. 

Two days ago I required some dental aid, but the dentist told that, being my problem not so urgent, any medical intervention must be avoided: in case for example of complications I cannot be moved to tha hospital. So no dental care. I can resist, I must resist. I've got no choice. 

The situation in general is quite complex, very strange, unusual but it is likely to be under control. We cannot leave our village. My wife drive once a day to Viterbo (about 10 km) to help his 89 years old father after having filled and signed the above mentioned document.

Towns and cities are almost desert. Even here, just few people are around. Also making a short walk here in the countryside is not allowed. It has been recommended not to meet other people or stay at a distance of 1m. Any kind of crowd is not permitted. 
Fortunately we live in the countryside and we have space enough to stay outdoor.

It is possible to enter a supermarket or a food shop just in a limited number of people at given times. One can stay in a queue outside keeping the distances: when a certain number of customers leave the shop, it possible to enter in. Private policemen are checking and montoring the respect of the rules.

Food is completely available as usual. Agriculture, food industry and distribution are working well. No shortages at the moment. The same for medicines. It is impossible to find any kind of mask.

No cars in the streets. Only trucks for necessary goods.
Home delivery is allowed. We are receiving certains goods thanks to amazon or other kind of home delivery. For example, two days ago I have finished the ink cartridges for my printer (consider it is necessary also to print the certificate to circulate for any need). I bought them through amazon: they should be delivered in a short time. The carrier (wearing a mask) leaves the box at the beginning of the road in order to avoid any contact...

Let's see what will happen tomorrow....
